Unknown Causes

A week ago, when I wokeup, my head was “spinning” and had problem keeping my balance. I quickly lied down on the bed and waited for the “spinning” to stop. After a few minutes it did and I managed to wake up but I am puzzled. There’s no fever and no headache and I suspect may be it is due to high blood pressure. This is because both my parents got it so I thought well I am close to 40 now so it (high blood pressure) had caught up with me. Howeve I am not feeling any discomfort or head pain that I heard so often from my parents.

I did not go to see a doctor immediately but I switch on the PC and fired up old google faithfull. I then type d in the word high blood pressure and clicked on the few links here and there. What I gathered from those links suprised me because I didn’t know that there are no symtoms associated with HBP and that is why it is known as a silent killer. Now knowing this I better go and see a doctor and what’s more I can’t stand reading off the computer screen as I began to get dizzy.

When I was with the doctor, my blood pressure reading was taken and it was hovering beteen 150 to 92. Yes I do have a HBP but it is slight. So the doctor did not give me any medication but just some vitamin pills that’s B and C. He told me to relax and not to be stressed. He also showed me an article which mentioned about drinking coconut juice to cut down HBP. Hmm,that’s interesting so I went home but not before I had a coconut drink first. In Labuan, an island we got lots of fresh green coconuts. Anyway after seeing the doctor I felt relieved however I am still having the “spinning” problem and this happened every time I lie down or wakes up. So I am still puzzle.

I decide to see how things go in the next few days. I monitored my presure by paying 1 dollar to have my BP taken. It is done in a Pharmacy shop.
