“Money can’t buy happiness” that’s what I used to think too until I came across this site www.wealthaudit.com . According to this site it is not happiness. It’s more precious than happiness but often we don’t take notice of it. And you can’t keep it in the bank too.

I am not going to reveal it here but I like to invite you to visit the site. And when you are there do take the “Wealth Audit” test. The test link is at the bottom of the page. There are ten questions you have to answer and the more truthfull the answer the better. The results are only known to you. Do take it since we are one way the other Freedom Seekers.

As can be seen on the side bar on the right, my Google Adsense is running. It is a breeze applying for a Google Adsense account. Just go to google site and click the advertising program and finally click to go to adsense and applied there. Once you filled up the required information Google will sent you an email verification.

However you can’t start or activate your adsense account until the people in Google has vetted your site. Well you can still log in but there will be a message that tells you that your account is not activated yet. Anyway in about 2 to 3 days later and if all goes well, you will receive an email from Google. It welcomes you and informed that your application is successfull. With that you can then log in to do the following:

• Select the type of advertisement ie text, image or combination
• Select the layout
• Select the color options
• Grab the code/script

With the code paste it on your website and off you go to start your earning when people click on the Google Ads on your site.

One more other thing. There are still two things you need to do before Google can pays you. These are

• 1) Provide your Tax information
• 2) Indicate your Mode of Payment

Well with that sorted out just wait for Google cheque when your income reaches US100/- ( The minimum amount before they sent out the cheque).

In WP 1.5, you can place the script on the side bar. To place on the same location as this blog just place the script in the sidebar.php file ( found under wp-content/themes/default directory). Below is an image file of where to place the script in sidebar.php.

You may also want to check out this article too. It’s about Google Heat Map. It’s a map that shows Google’s Ads locations in a webpage with the highest clicks. The ones in orange colours are the ones with the highest clicks.

Still on the subject of Word Press. While searching for solution for implementing tabs to my blog, I came across another great site…or should I call blog. It’s UrbanGiraffe. There is a series of write up where the author rips up Word Press themes and show you step by step coming up with your own theme. At this time of writing there are 3 parts in the series. These are:

• Dissection of a WordPress theme: Part 3

I am currently reading Part 2 and haven’t decided to do up my custom made theme yet but if I do, I know where to drop by for reference. Anyway if you are thinking to create or modify your WP theme, it’s highly recommended to drop by the blog.
