I don’t know Mr Roger until I received an ezine which I subscribed to. The ezine spoke of a 1969 video which Mr Roger testify before the Senate as the funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) was in danger of being cut in half by Nixon due to war costs. So I viewed the video and I am impressed by the way Mr Roger spoke. He was clear and his message still rings true today and definitely we can still learn a lot from it.

I did a search online and found that unfortunately Mr Roger had passed away earlier this year and I found a video tribute to him and it is a very touching. Here is the tribute video.

Just read the posy by Liew of LiewCF.com post in Chitika about his journey of making a living as a full time blogger. Guess the most difficult thing to do is making the decision to do so. Well as they said, it’s history now and Liew is doing fine. He is some one or should I say a living proof that it’s possible to make a living full time online. Yes there are many now out there, but Liew is some one closer to home and one that I had been following since 2005. Infact he had helped me to set this blog up.

Further to my post on Overture Keyword tool , glad to know that it is still online and alive. Guess Yahoo heard the concern of the online community. On a seperate note, I just renewed my hosting and the domain name of this website for another year. This is the third time now since TSS gone online, looking back my very first post was on Febuary 2005. How much has we progress since our intention of working and making a living from home. This intention is now 3 years plus. Our online store is www.myfancyshop.com and www.myfancyshop-online.com are still going. The operatin now is taken over by my other half and she is doing rather well.

As for me I am continuing to pursue website building and moneytized them with adsense. The challenging part is getting traffic. Of the 7 sites that we have, 3 are obtaining traffic from search engines while the another two, I am buying traffic and applying arbitrage method to make an income. I started experimentating with arbitrage in August 2005 , it was on and off and most of the time it was breaking even or a little profit. All this time I know that there’s potential in the Arbitrage model and decided to study more about it. Hence in November 2006, with a change in strategy, it is now making a decent profit. Thus for 2007, I have decided concentrate on this model and to fine tune it.
