The Quickess Way To Attain Peace of Mind
The definition of peace by TheFreeDictionary.com states the following :-
1. The absence of war or other hostilities.
2. An agreement or a treaty to end hostilities.
3. Freedom from quarrels and disagreement; harmonious relations: roommates living in peace with each other.
4. Public security and order: was arrested for disturbing the peace.
5. Inner contentment; serenity: peace of mind.
It is the fifth one that prompts me to write this post. Peace of mind, I believe is what is desire by many. I found that the quickess way to attain it or the feeling of serenity and tranquillity is to look at a sleeping baby or child. The moment I look at my own sleeping child, all the stress, worries, angers and negative related emotions in me are gone. These are replaced by the feeling of peace and love and a calm mind. Thus every night before going to bed, I made it a point to check on my sleeping children. Not only to see that they are alright but to savour the peacefull moment.
