Is this famous free keyword research tools that many of us are familiar with gone? Well that’s what I was told in an email I received this morning. Apparently this tool is no longer going to be supported by Yahoo . I tried to visit the site just now and it was not reachable. Just hope that’s temporary and that Yahoo may change their decision.

What’s does this mean if this free tool is gone?

Well for one, I am going to miss it. I first used it back in many years back ( I can’t remembered exactly when) and I always like to use it even now as it does gives a quick “feel” on keywords that one is researching. The other effect is keywords softwares that depends on this tool database will be affected too, like the one I owned. The software maker is in the mean time researching new keyword source. Hopefully the new source is free too…just like overture’s keyword tool.
