My Tabs Are Up
Hooray!! Finally my Tabs are functioning. After almost 2 days of searching , exploring I finally get the tabs to work on this blog. A great thanks to this blog pixies.ca that I finally found the working solution that I can understand and implement. There are a number of entires on WordPress issues in pixies and they are archived here. Look for these entries as they are the ones with the tabs solution.
Here are some very important tips for those who are venturing to do this.
- Always back up the files that you are going to modify.
- Implement changes one step at a time. Making sure a batch of codes are working before proceeding to the next batch.
- Test run on multiple bowsers, for me it’s IE and FireFox
Another thing, when you are reading up on the entries in pixies, do read the discussion or questions asked under the comments section. It’s very certain that the questions you will have, others have encountered before and already asked.
However if you have any questions on using the solution suggested in pixies, fell free to ask me. I’ll answer them if I can as this is based on my own experience only. Good luck on your tabs’ adventures.
thanks for your kind words. i put together my posts based on the same type of frustrations that i see many others having. posting what i had discovered just seemed like the right thing to do. glad that you got things working. (small nitpik, but you spelt pixies.ca wrong in your first link
